Hello. I came across your website by way of a taptalk thread from years ago where you were looking for advice on a Kaufman design sailboat. I was searching for Kaufman design sailboats for sale as it has been a dream of mine to own one of Mike Kaufman’s designs. You see Mike Kaufman is my uncle (my mother’s brother) and the love of sailing runs deep in my family’s veins. I just began watching your last video on the refit and plan to watch the rest. I was wondering if you have another website or YouTube channel you post to more recently? Were you ever able to get in contact with Mike? Do you still own Redemption?

Hey Brian! We do still own Redemption and are currently cruising in the Bahamas! Thanks for following along! We have a Facebook page (https://m.facebook.com/pg/SailRedemption/posts/) and an Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/SailRedemption/) that we update more frequently. We have some posts on here that will be coming soon. We (myself and another Kaufman owner Michael of Imagine) have tried to get in touch with with your uncle but he has been either really busy or is having medical issues hindering him. We would like to get some original plans or drawings and maybe some old pictures or history of the Kaufman 47 line. Michael has been able to get in touch with Mr. Kaufman more than I have over the phone. If you have any more questions or want to chat more our email address is sailredemption@ gmail. com.
